Nestled in the Grande Champagne region of cognac, you can walk to fantastic cognac houses for tasting, as well as find the global names in Cognac itself. For wine lovers, we are one and a half hours from St Emilion and the world-renowned Bordeaux vineyards.
The village, just a few minutes walk from the house, is home to a bar serving simple traditional French lunch, and to the all-important village boulangerie for the early morning croissants, fresh baguettes and patisseries. Paddleboarding, water-skiing or wakeboarding are also available from the renowned water sports centre a few minutes walk away. Our favourite one Michelin-star restaurant is 10 minutes drive away and is always an unforgettable culinary experience!
Less than 5km away is Jarnac where the beautiful Charente river provides a beautiful setting for lovely walks and kayaking, as well as restaurants, supermarkets, bars and shops.
Cognac and Angouleme, the regional centres, are also within easy reach, providing a livelier bar and restaurant scene alongside lovely boutiques.
